In reality, some of them tend to be better yet than premium paid-for web themes. That undoubtably depends on who produced the web template. Be it a novice you will probably find it not that much of a value but there are lots of skilled designers who come up with fre website templates as their own hobby projects or simply out of pure humanism and aspiration to make the world a better place. Lot's of folks (or even all of them?) love freebies. And that is due to the fact that free doesn't necessarily mean low quality.
